We have always rejoiced the bravery and friendship of the golden trio. But all this time, we completely forgot about another trio which has shown much more badassery than the original trio and played a bang on role in the whole series. As you might have already guessed, it’s of course Ginny, Luna and Neville, Our very own Silver Trio.
The girl who waited- Ginny Weasley
Being The only girl in the family, Ginny outsmarted all her elder brothers by facing the darkest wizard of all the times at just the age of 11. She grew up to be one of the boldest and charming girls at Hogwarts. And of course, her extraordinary skills at Quidditch can obviously Not be ignored. Ginny has been Popularized as the girl who waited as she let her feelings for Harry Gradually unfold with time. She even broke up with Him only for the sake of their safety. This Perfectly depicts how emotionally practical she was.
The girl who believed- Luna Lovegood
Luna is the embodiment of pure good. She is the symbol of self acceptance and love. She is the strength of the soul. She has a will of fight against flight and she has always inspired everyone that finding perfection in the imperfect is real contentment.
The Boy who could have been- Neville Longbottom
Being qualified into the House of Gryffindor might have seemed a mistake at first but Neville prooved it wrong with time by going through a dynamic transformation, from being an insufferable forget it all to a full fledged hero. His fate was worse than death, with parents not able to recognize him and spending his whole life with his only grandmother, All this was enough to make a grown man cry. But as he grew up, whatever he went through and took in, only made him stronger, just like the sword of gryffindor.
Even after having their own odds, the three were one of the notable members of Dumbledore’s Army. Even in the Battle of Department of mysteries, battle of the Astronomy Tower and the Battle of Hogwarts, The trio played an impeccable role. And not ignoring the fact that they were the strength of Hogwarts while the golden trio was away at the Horcrux-Hunt. They were the only ones who attempted to steal the sword of Gryffindor from Snape’s office and wrote Graffiti on the wall saying ‘Dumbledore’s Army, Still recruiting’.
Wasn’t this enough to announce them as the Unsung Warriors? We might not have taken a minute to appreciate them, but that doesn’t make them any more less.
That’s it for today! Don’t forget to comment down your thoughts below!
